Scrolling thru my Facebook feed I saw a picture of my lil cousin with this same stole. I was like "oh heck yeah!" My oldest sun will graduate with his B.S. in Digital Communications & Multimedia from CUNY Graduate Center's Baccalaureate for Unique & Interdisciplinary Studies. I did a Google search and when the image of the stole came up it was attached to the SANKOFA link. I recognize the word "SANKOFA" from my youthful "Black Power" days and immediately knew it was a Black owned business. Naturally I support and I am pleased that I didn't have to get it on the big A. The stole came 2 days earlier than expected and the follow up on customer service is extraordinary. I am very very pleased and will upload photos on graduation day!

As a non-traditional aged student returning to earn my MFA in Theatre, I knew I wanted a stole that represented my journey and acknowledge the triumph of earning another degree in a field I’ve always wanted be in. My university had gotten rid of many Black organizations in order to get rid of “DEI” this stole was symbolic to me, as it will be a permanent reminder of my own perseverance, in addition to the perseverance of our people.

The sash itself is very cute. The only thing is that i wish there came in different adinkra besides the stool.. i really wanted one with "nyame ne hene" symbol. However this works for what i need it for. and i'm having it embroidered.

Ready to Customize Black Authentic Handwoven Kente Cloth Graduation Stole
I will not be ordering again! My stole one side stated class of 2025 on the other side it stated class girl magic ! Instead of black girl magic. I waited on this stole and I have pictures this Friday ! Wanted to show support to this website but I want be doing that again in fact I have contacted customer service multiple times nobody is responding back to me
