Have curly or straight hair? Big afro, dreadlocks, braids or twists? Don't change your hair, upgrade your cap! Keep your graduation cap looking photo-perfect by securing it with the original Patented Cappa™ Deluxe Shaper insert; the ultimate remedy for getting your graduation hat to fit flawlessly over your stunning hair. With the Cappa™ Deluxe Shaper insert, you'll breeze through graduation day with confidence, knowing that your hat will sit comfortably atop your head. No more worries about your hat messing up your hair or makeup, sitting awkwardly, causing your forehead to sweat, or looking messy; this innovative solution is your key to a hassle-free experience.
Works for All Hair Types: The Cappa™ Deluxe Shaper™ keeps your graduation cap secure and comfortable—no matter your hairstyle. Traditional caps often smudge makeup, trap heat against your forehead, and sit awkwardly on big natural hair. Cappa™ fixes all of that and helps a standard graduation cap fit properly while staying photo-perfect on natural hair, braids, locs, curls, straight hair, and more. Simple and Elegant Design: This easy-to-use, two-piece system is faster and more secure to install, unlike other complicated systems that may fall apart. Go with the original Patented Cappa™ Deluxe Shaper™ insert. Graduation cap not included. Here's how it works:
-
Peel off the yellow self-adhesive strips from the Cappa™ Deluxe Shaper. Then, peel off the red self-adhesive strip on the headband and affix the headband to the center of the Deluxe Shaper.
-
Insert the Deluxe Shaper into your graduation cap.
-
Stretch the excess fabric until it is taut, then press it firmly over the Deluxe Shaper adhesives. Then place the cap on your head. The adhesive strips provide a strong hold on the fabric but are not permanent, allowing for easy adjustments and removal.
New and improved for Class of 2026:
-
Controls slipping with new anti-slip “teeth” in the headband.
-
Wider headband base adds stability; transparent headband stays discreet.
-
No bump in headband — no pressure or pain.
-
Locks in place with solid 2-piece system, no moving parts.
-
Slimmer shaper insert for a perfect fit.
Dimensions: The Deluxe Shaper measures approximately 4 x 6 inches (fits perfectly in graduation caps) and the Cappa™ headband measures approximately 4 x 6 inches. Cappa™ - Don't Change Your Hair. Upgrade Your Cap!

Every Sankofa Edition kente stole is woven by hand on a traditional loom in Ghana, one at a time. A single kente stole can take a master weaver up to four hours, with the text woven directly into the fabric as the stole is created. Turn one over and you can see it — the weave runs through both sides.
Kente was once worn only by kings and queens, and the craft has passed down through generations of Ghanaian weavers. The artisans who make your kente stole are paid for that skill. Buying one keeps a loom running in Ghana and supports a Black-owned business here.
Order directly from us and you know what you’re getting: real handwoven Kente, made by the people who have always made it.
